Testing & Characterisation Services

Connector Inspection & Verification
Inspection of fibre connector end faces to identify contamination, damage and defects that could affect optical performance. Cleaning and re-inspection can be completed before certification testing.

Insertion Loss Testing
End-to-end optical loss measurement to verify fibre link performance against the required loss budget and project specification.

Optical Return Loss (ORL) & Reflectance Testing
Measurement and assessment of reflected optical power to identify connectors, splices or other events that may affect network performance.

OTDR Testing & Analysis
Detailed analysis of the complete fibre route to locate splices, connectors, bends, breaks and abnormal loss events while assessing overall fibre attenuation.

Spectral Attenuation Testing
